Oh Paris in springtime…so wonderful ….we went once in spring and I was drawn by a street artist in Montmarte and still have the picture on my wall….(it was fairly flattering ).There is so much to see and so many galleries I think you need to look in the guide books and select what you personally want to see in the time you have. (For me last time it was the Dutch Still Lifes in the Louvre and Monet paintings in the Orangerie)….and a coffee in Montmarte watching wonderful artists at work…Have a brilliant time, Claire! Congratulations to you both on your anniversary.

Was going to say Monmatre too, definitely worth the climb up the hill! I just don’t see how you can be disappointed in Paris – it will be great whatever you do.

Just go everywhere, it’s all magical! When I was last there we just wandered around and discovered little secret places!
Musee Marmottan is pretty amazing full of beautiful Monet paintings and an extraordinary collection of illuminations from the Renaissance. Well worth a visit.
Have a lovely time x
