There is nothing I like more on a warm sunny day, than a little bit of fruit picking.
There is something very wholesome about it. That back to nature connection that we don’t often have with our food.
It’s also like treasure hunting and I can never stop until the punnets are full which usually means too much fruit to eat or freeze!
And it doesn’t stop with just fruit.
Because I love it when fresh veg is stacked up high in baskets or crates, looking like a work of art.
Which is just what I did with it. And tonight it’s our tea!

Fruit and veg picking is so satisfying but must be doubly so when you can also harvest some paintings

Those berries look delicious! And to be able to wear a jacket… that sounds divine (it’s been so hot here I’m always wearing as little as possible… jackets are a long way off). Your paintings are gorgeous!
