I first got the idea for this Christmas banner whilst browsing at the Quilt Show a couple of years ago. It was on the dandeliondesigns stall. I just checked her website and it doesn’t seem to be there anymore (so I feel better about my inspired version!) but credit where credit is due.
I made mine with a good quality red felt (found online somewhere) and vintage mother of pearl buttons from my Grandma’s button box.
It was a joy to make and is a joy to look at!

This is such a lovely idea – and it really is a joy to look at! I always love things made with mother of pearl buttons, and these look great against the red. Keep cosy. Helen x
